Dewberry has experienced growth in recent years and seeks to further manage this growth and related infrastructure. Work being carried out includes preparing and updating long-range and current land use regulations, and identifying how future lands could be developed and serviced.
1. Growth analysis for the next 30 years to consider future servicing capacity, population and employment forecasts.
2. Preparation of a Concept Plan for the development of vacant lands in the Village’s southeast corner.
3. Preparation of a Municipal Development Plan to guide future development decisions in the Village.
4. Review and update of the Village’s existing Land Use Bylaw.
Community engagement will be critical to the successful completion of these tasks. Throughout the process, the Village will be holding information and engagement sessions for members of the community to aid in the completion of the concept plan, Municipal Development Plan and Land Use Bylaw.
